Valley View Villa, operated by The Riverton Guest Home Corporation was incorporated under the Municipal Housing Act of Nova Scotia on March 30, 1974. Prior to constructing the new facility, the Corporation operated the Pictou County Home for the Aged for almost one hundred years. Since its official opening on January 16, 1978, Valley View Villa has prided itself on continuing to develop and evolve it’s facility and operations in response to the long-term care needs of an expanding population of seniors.
